FinPi Privacy Policy

FinPi is an independent third-party application. Not owned, operated, sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Pi Network or the Pi Core Team.
FinPi follows a data-minimisation approach and collects only information necessary to provide the features you use.

1. Information We Collect

When you authenticate through Pi, FinPi may receive:

If you use optional financial tools, FinPi may process budgets, expenses, savings goals, invoices, products, merchant information, payment requests, and financial analytics you choose to enter. This information is stored locally on your device.

Limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the application, including browser type, device type, operating system, application version, language settings, technical logs, and error information.

FinPi will never ask you to provide your Pi Wallet passphrase, private key, seed phrase, wallet recovery phrase, or wallet password. Never provide these credentials to anyone claiming to represent FinPi.

FinPi processes personal information only as necessary to provide requested services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and where applicable, with your consent. Where you use optional features such as financial tools, budgets, or contacts, processing is based on your voluntary use of those features.

FinPi uses Pi Platform and Pi SDK mechanisms for payment functionality and does not ask users to provide wallet credentials directly. Blockchain transactions may be publicly visible and irreversible. Information recorded on a blockchain may not be capable of being deleted or changed by FinPi.

FinPi may display Pi-related market reference-rate information obtained from external data providers. Such information may be delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate. FinPi does not guarantee any particular Pi value, exchange rate, or financial return. Any rate displayed should be treated as reference information only and does not constitute financial advice.

8. Data Storage

Some FinPi information is stored locally on your device to improve performance and user experience. Certain information may also be securely processed or stored by FinPi's infrastructure where necessary to provide requested services. You can clear all locally stored FinPi data at any time via Profile → Settings → Clear Local Data.

FinPi and its service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence, including countries where Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers operate. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international data transfers.

Blockchain information may remain available independently of FinPi as blockchain records are controlled by the relevant network.

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information; request restriction of processing; object to certain processing; withdraw consent where applicable; and request data portability. You can clear all local FinPi data at any time via Profile → Settings → Clear Local Data.

FinPi uses local storage and session storage for authentication, security, session management, preferences, and application functionality. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential technologies, FinPi will seek appropriate consent.

FinPi interacts with third-party services including Pi Network and cloud infrastructure providers. Those services have their own privacy policies and terms. FinPi is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties it does not control.

15. Children's Privacy

FinPi is not intended for individuals legally prohibited from using the service because of age. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information in violation of applicable law.

16. Changes to This Policy

FinPi may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last Updated date will indicate the latest revision. Material changes may be communicated through the application.
